Goodness from the Interwebs for 3/23

A handful of links that interested, amused or informed me from around the interwebs:
  • Road Runner vs. Coyote: one of the classic rivalries of mortal enemies in history. Also one of the most remarkably genius simple storylines of all time. Here are the eleven rules that Chuck Jones followed in writing it.
  • The Simpsons has long been one of the most clever satires of culture on TV. Here are 33 of the funniest signs they’ve come up with.
  • Curt Schilling is a famous MLB pitcher, a baseball commentator for ESPN, and a known blowhard but this story of how he tracked down the real identities of cyber-bullies who attacked his daughter and publicly called them out earns him 1,000 super dad points. So great.
  • A stock footage company put together one of the best promo videos I’ve ever seen, creating the trailers for a variety of “stock” TV shows. Pretty clever.

  • Piranhas are known for their ability to devour prey quickly, but actually seeing them do it is insane. They put the frenzy in feeding frenzy.
