Decisions, decisions, decisions.
Should I take this job offer? Should I ask her to marry me? Is this the church God is calling me to? How do I handle this anxiety? How can I help my child with her temper? How do I handle this conflict at work?
.We all need God’s guidance, don’t we? At one time or another we all face major life decisions, but all of us need direction every day. How to spend our time, how to serve others, how to raise our children…the list goes on. One of God’s most encouraging promises is Psalm 32:8:
I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;
I will counsel you with my eye upon you. Psalm 32.8
God promises that he will never leave us in the dark.
He promises to instruct and teach us in his ways. To counsel us as he watches over us. To lead and guide us. I can’t tell you how often I have prayed this Scripture when asking God for guidance. And I’ve shared this with fellow believers countless times over the years to assure them that God would guide them.
I would encourage you to memorize this Scripture. To help you here is this weeks’ Scripture memory song to listen to and download:
Memorize this Scripture! Quote it to yourself often. Share it with others. God wants to encourage you to trust him for his guidance and direction. And what could be more encouraging, than to know the One who knows all things, past, present and future, the One who has all wisdom, the one who gave his Son to purchase us, will personally counsel us.
