The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing

Dear Lord,

Thank you that You are my Shepherd, watching over me and providing for me. You know the desires of my heart and I lack nothing because I have all that I need in You. Help me to lay down any worries or doubts that come into my mind so that I can experience peace when fear tries to overwhelm me.

In Philippians 4:19 you say, “My God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.” I thank you for your faithfulness and provision and declare that I trust in You alone. I believe that you will provide for all my needs every single day.

He makes me lie down in green pastures

Dear Lord,

Thank You for the gift of rest and refreshment that comes when I follow Your leading. Help me to take a step back and enjoy the beauty of nature, trusting in Your perfect provision. Give me the courage to listen to You and not my own plan or schedule.

In Isaiah 30:15 You say, “In returning and rest you shall be saved; in quietness and trust shall be your strength.” Lord, I thank You for this peace and protection that comes with trusting in Your timing. I know that when my soul is still before You, I can find the freedom to move forward.

He leads me beside still waters

Dear Lord,

Thank You for offering us a place of peace and rest. Help me to become still and trust Your leading, even when I don’t understand the path ahead. Restore my soul by taking away my fears and worries so that I can fully surrender to You.

In Isaiah 26:3 You say, “You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you.” Lord, I thank You for this assurance that my soul can find true rest when it is fixed upon You. May your presence be the foundation of all my decisions and actions.

He restores my soul

Dear Lord,

Thank You for Your mercy and grace that are extended to me when I turn to You in repentance. Renew my spirit and help me to walk in the truth of Your Word every day. Free me from anything that would hold me back from living a life devoted to You.

In Psalm 51:10 You say, “Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.” Lord, I thank You for this assurance that when my heart is turned toward You, my soul can be restored and made new. Grant me the strength to stand firm in faith against all temptation.

He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake

Dear Lord,

Thank You for guiding me in the way I should go. Help me to stay focused on You and the path that You have laid out for me so that I may bring glory to Your name. Give me the strength to stand firm in what I know is right, trusting that You will provide for me in all things.

In Proverbs 3:6 You say, “In all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your paths.” Lord, I thank You for this assurance that when my life is submitted to You, I will be led in the right direction. Keep me from straying from Your plan for me.

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death

Dear Lord,

I acknowledge that life can be difficult and there are times when I find myself in a dark place. Yet, I trust that You are with me and will never leave my side. Fill me with hope and peace so that even in the valley of darkness I may live with faith and courage.

In Hebrews 13:5 You say, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Lord, I thank You for this assurance of Your presence and continual protection over me. Bring forth good from the darkness and show me the hope that comes with trusting in You.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

I will fear no evil

Dear Lord,

Help me to find peace in Your presence when I am surrounded by evil and have nowhere else to turn. Give me the faith I need to trust You and face each challenge with courage and strength. I know that You can overcome any obstacle if it is in Your will.

In Romans 8:31 You say, “If God is for us, who can be against us?” Lord, I thank You for this reminder that even in a world filled with suffering and devastation, You are always on my side. Protect me from the fear of evil and help me to find refuge in Your unconditional love.

For You are with me

Dear Lord,

Thank You for never leaving my side. Regardless of what I go through in life, Your love and presence remain constant. Give me the assurance that no matter how hard things get, I can always count on You to be there for me.

In Matthew 28:20 You say, “And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Lord, this reminder fills me with hope and strength when times are difficult. Help me to turn away from fear and find comfort in Your presence.

Your rod and staff they comfort me

Dear Lord,

Thank You for the loving guidance that comes from Your rod and staff. Help me to abide by Your instruction so that I may live an abundant life with joy and peace. Allow me to trust in You and be comforted by Your presence even when I am in doubt.

In Isaiah 41:10 You say, “Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Lord, I thank You for this reminder that no matter what happens in life, Your love is always stronger than any obstacle.

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies

Dear Lord,

Though my enemies may try to tear me down, give me the courage and strength to stay focused on You and all that You have done for me. Help me to stay determined and keep an attitude of gratitude so that I may be a blessing to those around me. Let Your love shine through even in the presence of opposition.

In Isaiah 54:17 You say, “No weapon formed against you will prosper…” Lord, keep me safe as I continue to put my trust in You. Guide me and protect me so that I may remain focused on Your plans for me.

You anoint my head with oil

Dear Lord,

Give me the wisdom to recognize Your purpose for my life. Let me be refreshed spiritually and emotionally so that I may receive the abundance of blessings You have in store for me. Allow me to remain humble and focused on what truly matters in this world—Your glory.

In John 15:5 You say, “I am the vine; you are the branches…” Lord, I thank You for reminding me that without You, I will never be able to fulfill the purpose You have placed in my life. Help me to remain devoted and committed to Your work so that I may effectively serve others.

My cup runs over

Dear Lord,

Thank You for all the blessings in my life. Fill me with gratitude so that I may be content and satisfied in every area of my life. Let Your presence overflow within me, granting me the strength to be a blessing to others—speaking words of encouragement and providing a listening ear when needed.

In Matthew 6:26 You say, “Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them.” Lord, thank You for the reminder that You will take care of me even when I am not able to take care of myself. Help me to remain steadfast in faith, never doubting that Your grace is sufficient for me.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life

Dear Lord,

Thank You for Your unfailing love and guidance. Help me to stay focused on You and recognize Your hand in every aspect of my life. Allow me to remember that no matter what I face, Your goodness and mercy will continue to surround me and bless me.

In Jeremiah 29:11 You say, “’For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Lord, thank You for reminding me that no matter what life brings my way, Your plan for me will always be greater. I pray that You would remind me of this when times seem hard and my faith wavers.

And I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever

Dear Lord,

Grant me strength to keep my eyes on You no matter what life throws at me and help me to seek refuge in the shelter of Your wings. Lead me closer to You so that I may experience Your presence in a more intimate way, and let me be surrounded by Your grace each day.

In John 14:2 You say, “In my Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you.” Lord, thank You for Your promise of a home where we can find rest. Let me never forget that this world is temporary and the eternal home You have prepared for me is everlasting.

Closing Prayer

Dear Lord,

Thank You for being my Shepherd and guiding me through life’s uncertainties. Grant me the courage to trust You with all that I am and all that I have, knowing that You are the only One who can truly provide me with true peace. Let me remain in Your presence forever because this is where I find true strength and joy.
