Forgiveness Prayer
Dear Lord,
I come before you today in need of your forgiveness. I know I have done wrong and fallen short of your glory. Please forgive me for my sins and accept me into your loving arms. Lord, open the eyes of my heart so that I can see how much you love and care about me, no matter what I have done.
In Psalm 51 you say, “Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me.” Lord, I ask that you forgive my sins and create in me a pure heart. Renew the spirit within me and restore to me the joy of salvation.
Help me to recognize the miracle of your mercy and turn away from my sins. Give me the strength to forgive myself as you have forgiven me.

Prayer For Repentance And Forgiveness
Heavenly Father,
I come before you today humbly asking for forgiveness for my wrongdoings. I know that I have sinned and failed to honor your commandments. I have not been faithful to your will and have disappointed you with my actions.
I turn away from my sinful ways and repent of all my wrongs. I ask for your mercy and grace as I seek your forgiveness. Lord, help me to put my faith in you and rely on you for guidance and strength going forward.
In Isaiah 1:18 you say, “Come now, let us reason together,” says the Lord. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.” Lord I am so grateful for this promise and ask that you forgive me and make me clean again.

Prayer For Forgiveness From Anger
Lord,
I come before you with a repentant heart asking for forgiveness for my anger and impatience. I admit that I have been unkind to those around me and allowed my emotions to get the best of me.
Help me to recognize when these negative feelings are taking over and start to cause harm. Give me the strength to find peace and patience when dealing with challenging situations. Guide me through each day so that I may remain mindful of your teachings.
In Psalm 103:12 you say, “As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.” Lord, I am grateful for this promise and ask that you forgive me for my sins.

Heavenly Father,
Today I come before you asking for forgiveness for my sexual sins. I know that I have broken your commandments and fallen short of your glory. With a repentant heart, I ask for your grace and mercy as I turn away from these sinful behaviors.
Give me the strength to walk in purity and lead a life of holiness. Help me to find peace and comfort in your word so that I may resist temptation when it comes my way.
In 1 John 1:9 you say, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” I ask that you forgive me.

O gracious Lord,
I come to you today asking for forgiveness for my unbelief. I admit that I have strayed away from your word and put my trust in worldly things rather than in you.
Help me to have faith when the path ahead looks uncertain. Give me strength and courage so that I may stay focused on your word and put my trust in you.
In Mark 9:24 you say, “Immediately the father of the child cried out and said, ‘I believe; help my unbelief!'” Please help me to grow in faith.

Almighty God,
I come before you with a repentant heart asking for forgiveness of my pride. I have put myself and my own desires above your will and I know this is wrong. Help me to trust in you and submit myself to your commands even when it is hard.
Give me the humility to recognize when I am wrong and turn away from prideful behaviors. Help me to lead a life of holiness and to put aside selfish desires.
In Proverbs 16:18, you say, “Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall.” Lord, please give me a spirit of humility.

Prayer For God’s Forgiveness From Impatience
Lord,
I come to you today asking for forgiveness from my impatience. I admit that I have acted impulsively and let my frustration override your will. Help me to be more patient and aware of your guidance in all that I do so that I may live according to your word.
Give me the wisdom to discern how best to respond when I am feeling overwhelmed or frustrated. Remind me that you are in control and to have faith that all your plans for me will come to pass.
In James 1:19-20 you say, “My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry.” Lord, I am grateful for this promise and ask that you give me the strength to be patient and quick to listen.

Prayer For Forgiveness For Dishonesty
Almighty God,
I come before you with a repentant heart asking for forgiveness of my dishonesty. I have lied in order to protect myself and I know this goes against your perfect will for my life.
Help me to show integrity in all that I do and live a life of truthfulness. Remind me to be honest, even when it is hard, so that I may follow the example you have set before me.
In Proverbs 12:22, you say, “The Lord detests lying lips, but he delights in people who are trustworthy.” God, I ask that you give me the courage to speak only truth.

Prayer For God’s Forgiveness From Greed
Heavenly Father,
I come to you today seeking your forgiveness for my greed. I have looked to material possessions as a source of security and comfort, instead of trusting in you.
Help me to be content with the blessings you have bestowed on me and find joy in knowing that you are my true provider. Remind me to always put your will before my own and seek out the things that bring lasting satisfaction.
In Philippians 4:11-12 you say, “I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation.” Father, give me the strength to live with contentment.

Prayer Of Repentance For Selfishness
Loving Father,
I come to you today asking for your forgiveness of my selfishness. I have been so focused on myself, wanting what I want when I want it, and not considering the needs of others.
Give me a heart that seeks out ways to serve those around me and be more like Jesus in all that I do. Remind me to put someone else’s needs before my own and to be generous in spirit.
In Ephesians 4:2 you say, “Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.” Lord, I ask that you give me the grace to live out these words.

Prayer For God’s Forgiveness From Jealousy
Heavenly Father,
I come to you today seeking your forgiveness for my feelings of jealousy. I have compared myself unfavorably to those around me, and let envy consume me instead of celebrating the gifts and talents others possess.
Help me to focus my attention on what I have been blessed with and to find joy in the talents of those around me. Remind me that you are a God of justice, and that it’s ok for others to be successful.
In Romans 12:15-16 you say, “Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. Live in harmony with one another.” Father, help me to live out these words in my everyday life.

Prayer To Let Go Of Unforgiveness
Gracious God,
I come to You today asking for Your forgiveness and understanding of my unforgiveness. I have held on tightly to my hurt and anger, allowing it to consume me instead of releasing it to You.
Help me to let go of the pain I feel and understand that You have a plan for me even when things don’t turn out as expected. Remind me that forgiveness is not only a gift for those who have wronged us, but also a blessing for our own hearts and souls.
In Matthew 6:14-15 you say, “For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.” Lord God, I ask that You help me to live out these words in my everyday life. my life
